How to create your own happiness guide...

A desire to experience happiness is something that everyone has in common. But it is not always easy to create happiness. Nor to decide whether you are happy once you feel you should be in this particular state of mind.

Every life will have ups and downs, and so it is helpful to have a “guide” that can help us recognize whether we have achieved happiness or not.

In this article you’ll discover the essentials of living in genuine happiness. Plus, 6 questions to ask yourself that will support you in creating your own happiness guide to experience more harmony and joy in every day life.

6 questions to ask yourself that will support you in creating your own happiness guide

The most essential  question when creating your own happiness guide: Do I like who I am?

A key component to happiness is liking and loving yourself for who you are. If you don’t, then you need to figure out why. Make necessary changes, and then choose to love yourself despite your flaws.

Do I wake up excited about the day?

This is a revealing sign of your inner happiness. Do you wake up each morning ready to face the day, or do you feel anxious and fearful? It is difficult to be happy if you are starting off each morning in a negative way.

Do I look forward to my main occupation?

Whether you are working, attending school, or doing something else– you should feel a sense of anticipation when you think about being there. There are certain things we must do, like pay the rent, so your decision to work may not be an option. You do, however, have an option as to where you work. If you don’t like it, change it or change your attitude towards it.

Do I enjoy the people I spend most of my time with?

The people you spend the majority of your time with are the people who will have the greatest influence on you. If they are bitter, discouraging, and lack motivation, chances are that eventually, you will “catch” that vibe. If your friends are not uplifting, find new ones.

Do I dread or look forward to my future?

Happiness includes accepting that you can predict what will happen in your future. You can create things that may or may not influence your future. However, we can’t control everything. What we can control is where our focus is while living in the present, a.k.a. mindfulness living, choosing joy over fear.

Do I feel aligned with where I am right now?

What if you notice you’re not feeling aligned in any area of your business or life? Pay attention to those feelings and process them rather than trying to forget about them or, worse, blame yourself for failing.

The beauty is that when you understand those feelings, you’ll have a better opportunity to generate ideas for making the changes needed to get back into alignment.

Use these 4 stages to get back into alignment again (or for the first time)

  • Get radically honest.

  • Define what’s draining you or dragging you down about your current business (or life!).

  • Rewrite your purpose statement.

  • Choose a small shift to make and continue to make them until all feels aligned again.

When you are aligned with your life and business, you’ll notice new opportunities that you might have ignored previously.

Inside the Soul-Aligned Workshop Experience, discover how you can boost your long-term happiness and inner alignment to manifest your reality of extraordinary life.

This workshop-style experience is packed with powerful transformational tools and practices of mindful (self) coaching to help you start making small yet noticeable shifts every day for living a life (and running a business) more aligned with more flow, ease, and joy.

How to create your own happiness guide and experience more harmony and joy?

Step 1, the most important one, is to love yourself.

My spiritual guide once told me that loving means accepting.

To love oneself means to accept that you are not a perfect being. However, behind the imperfections must lie a great ounce of courage to discover ways to improve the version of the reality you live in. Surrender to what life is putting on your path and learn how to respond instead of react.

Why appreciating the present is good for your happiness guide

In life, there are lows and highs, yet we have the choice to let go of what doesn't serve us and let in what does. The only barrier is our thoughts, which set limitations on what's possible.

And yeah, I know that there are things like other people and circumstances we cannot control. Yet, we do everything in our "power "to think we can, which leads to so much pain and suffering.

So many things are outside our control that have, are, and will inevitably happen. And there is nothing we can do about that. What we can do is learn to respond instead of reacting.

We are constantly bombarded with outside stimuli. And many of us are wrapped up in worries about the future (that hasn't happened yet) or regrets about the past (that has already happened and is over). So, it is tough to find time to simply BE and appreciate the present moment.

That's all we have—the only moment we truly have control over—right now. So appreciate what is being brought to us right now.

The goods and the bads in life

Many people will probably judge me on that, but bad things are part of life, as are good things.

Without the bad, we won't appreciate the good.

But focusing on blaming or complaining about the whole bad thing and the suffering isn't the way to get out of misery.

Why not disconnect from the happenings and observe what's causing the actual pain? Why not instead look openly for signs that life is offering you to heal and return back to harmony and joy?

We are so focused on what we think about the happening and what it could mean that we actually miss life. It may sound harsh to bring it to you, but life will continue happening with or without you interfering.

So, why not let life happen through you and let go of your expectations?

To achieve and live from that level is difficult and requires practice and a lot of surrender.

When you approach life with curiosity–which I call Explore the Experiment with Excitement–you can feel more in harmony and inner peace than ever before.

Life is precious

Go where you are celebrated, not where you are tolerated.

Life is precious! So, rather than spending time with people and experiences that are just not subtle to your alignment and make you miserable, choose to be with people in environments and foster beliefs that feed your soul, that feed your fire.

Allow yourself to spend as much time as you can surrounded by the people you deeply enjoy, where you can be yourself. Among people, you can sing your song, dance your dance, and they hear your music and see your dance…

That is what makes life extraordinary, full of harmony and joy.

There’s so much more fun in being with those who hear the music and see your dance.

How this masterclass can help you to create your own happiness guide

In this masterclass, I’m exploring what you can do to achieve the life you dream of. Are you thinking of quitting your day job and starting a coaching business (or maybe you’re already on your way to doing it)? This is for you.

I go through five simple steps that will take back your day so you can experience more happiness and joy.

Remember why you started this coaching biz? Or maybe this is still a side hustle for you, yet do you know why you want to make it a full-time gig?

You do it to create the perfect lifestyle, enjoy flexibility, spend more time with your family, be your own boss, and, of course, help people with what you love doing.

Yet, next thing you know, you feel like you’re a slave to your business adventure. There never seem to be enough hours in the day, and one by one, all the little perks of being your own life and biz creator seem to be discarded by the roadside.

If this resonates with you, I bet you are diligent, driven, creative, and passionate about your coaching career.

You work hard to claim your place in the online world … but here’s the thing: It never seems to be enough…

You’re busy from the moment you get up till, well, sometimes long after others have gone to bed. And when you do make time for the necessary parts of life that aren’t business-related – cooking meals, driving your kids to soccer practice, rushing off to take care of one of those little life glitches – broken washing machines or vet trips, or simply even picking up the dry cleaning – you feel like you played hooky, because your biz building and growing activities are way behind.

So, in this masterclass, I’m talking about what you can do to get out of this never-ending cycle.
